Before you dive into importing, make sure you have your content ready from Medium. Depending on how you prefer to bring your stories over, you will need one of the following:
- Your Medium Export Archive file (.zip)
- Individual Medium story files (.html or .htm)
- A public Medium profile or publication web address (URL)
Installation
Once you are ready to begin, navigate to your main administration menu and look for the plugin area to get everything installed and ready on your site.

- Assign Author to: Choose whether to assign imported stories to an existing WordPress user or set up a user from the Medium author.
- Import Medium Drafts As: Decide if Medium drafts should be saved as WordPress Drafts or published right away.
Step 3: Preview and Finish
Move through the wizard to preview your import, review your choices, and finalize the process to bring your stories onto your site.
